Abdeljalil Abbas-Turki received a Ph.D. in control and computer science from the Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM), France, in 2003. He is a Full Professor within the CIAD (Connaissance et Intelligence Artificielle Distribuées) laboratory. His research interests include discrete event dynamic systems, combinatorial optimization, control theory, and distributed artificial intelligence applied to transportation modeling, simulation, and control. Presently, he manages the IT Department of the UTBM, which enrolls more than 300 students to get a master’s degree.
