Continental is one of the largest Tier 1 automotive suppliers and in the middle of the product (vehicle) value chain. With production plants all over the world as well as close customer and supplier relationships, Continental has deep automotive expertise and experience in realizing mobility components and services. Therefore, Continental will contribute use cases relevant to data protection as well as privacy requirements and controls to this proposal and is responsible for the corresponding work package. Specifically, Continental will virtually fill a so-called Privacy Engineering Toolbox with examples of privacy-preserving technologies and features, e.g. Anonymization, Data Maps, Data Flow Management, Authorization Management, Policy Management (definition and end2end enforcement), Identity Management, and a Privacy HMI; technologies which are known from the Internet domain but not adopted to the automotive domain yet.
